Victims of political violence that shook Senegal for three years until 2024 gathered on Sunday for what the government calls a “Martyrs and Victims Day.” The meeting, led by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, aimed to address compensation, psychological support, and justice for those affected. Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports from Dakar, Senegal.
