Indonesia is grappling with severe shortages of food, medicine, and clean water after catastrophic floods and landslides devastated three provinces on the island of Sumatra. At least 960 people have been confirmed dead, with hundreds still missing as emergency teams struggle to reach isolated communities. Displacement has risen into the hundreds of thousands, and concerns are growing over the spread of disease in crowded shelters.
