A Palestine Action activist who’s being held awaiting trial on charges of criminal damage has now been on hunger strike for 70 days, as concerns about her health grow.

31-year-old Heba Muraisi, a member of the now-proscribed Palestine Action group, is one of three prisoners on remand taking part in the hunger strike. They all deny the charges and are demanding immediate bail, which ministers say is a matter for independent judges, not politicians.
