From Kenya to the Philippines, Morocco to Nepal - this year has seen a succession of protests led by the Gen Z generation. Driven by economic inequality and allegations of corruption, some have successfully brought down governments. Although each country is different the movements have drawn inspiration from each other, often adopting the same symbols and slogans.

But when the energy of the street subsides what happens next. Filmmaker Caroline Brenière went to Madagascar where the Gen Z movement has toppled the government to find out what they’re doing now.
